Royal Ascot to Observe Brief Silence

There will be a minute of silence after the arrival of Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Party in the procession ring at Royal Ascot Tuesday after the recent tragic events across Britain, the racecourse announced Monday. Ascot Racecourse will donate APS1 00,000 to the British Red Cross UK Solidarity and London Fire Relief Funds, as well as local charities that support those affected. There will also be exit collects during the five-day Royal Meeting allowing racegoers to contribute.
